enigma restart when downloading satmate epg

guys, anyone having an issue with satmate of recent times. tried on multiple occassions this morning to download epg but the dm800 restarts each time. i also tried hip hop but that hung which makes me think its more likely a local issue than a satmate issue. any help welcome

Have you checked the mount path to the device on which you are saving it ? I have a sneaky suspicion you're using a Dream Elite image and have not setup your device mounts.

its funny. i have set up the path to the usb stick. i also have two crons setup, one to reboot at 5am and a second to download epg at 6am. now i've noticed some days that there is no epg so i download it later in the evening when i get home. there is never a problem when i do this. however i decided to do it early this morning and each time the box rebooted and no epg update took place. yet when i did it later in the day there was no issue. is it possible that the server can be down sometimes early in the morning which is causing the lack of epg on these days and the crashing of the dreambox because of possible epg server issue. just a thought. wonder if anybody has experienced such a failure with early morning epg update failure

mate your not alone - i have the exact same problem here with satmate on my dm800. Most of the time its fine, but every other week or so it plays up again, someone help us! haha

same problem here, blank epg and restarts when updating. must be a server issue. blankety blank! O-zzz

defo, server issue, as I'm getting the same, and reports elsewhere also suggest something wrong with the satmate server. I think they guy who owns it is on hols!

Worked on the third attempt yesterday after restarting twice.

Same here with dreamelite on VU+. Drives mounted correctly, must be server issue.

defo soundas like a server problem
