Entitlements Expired?!?!

Quick question, I have had my s*y card running in a chinese clone dm500 for quite a while without any problems.

I have since put it into the new DM8000 with newcs1.66 & cccam 2.1.1 installed.

Today, the kids can't view any channels.

I checked cccam and it looks like I have some expired entitlements:

b8cd 12-06-2009
00b 12-06-2009
003 12-06-2009

I am not doing any CS at the moment, so have left the config files standard. I checked newcs.xml and it doesn't look like any of the card readers are blocking any updates.

I assume this means my caard isn't getting updated, any idea's why?
 
I just installed "newcs1.65 & cccam2.0.5" to see if its a problem with the later versions.
My entitlements screen is now not showing any information under cccam 2.0.5, I assume it might take some time to update?!?!
 
Have you tried with just CCcam (and not newcs)?
 
No.

I have had to power back on my sky box and call them.

They have resent the signal, but they must be busy, because it doesn't look like its going to come through too quickly.

I would have liked to put the card back in the DM8000 to see if its going to work but I can't afford to miss the update to be honest, its the weekend, the kids will want the TV later / tomorrow.

CCcam info wont show entitlements for your card with this setup as its not regarded as local, its hop 1 from your newcs server, use a the latest cccam and the latest drivers for your 8000 and it wiil work fine, How old are your Drivers?
 
I had the latest versions on (newcs1.66, cccam 2.1.1) , and my entitlements expired.

Thats why I tried downgrading.
 
ok, does anyone know much about entitlements??

I just got the Childrens channels back after having to leave the Sky card in a Sky box for 4 hours.

I have put my system back on the "Newcs 1.66 & CCcam 2.1.1" bundle from the Blue Panel.

Refreshing entitlements, "b8cd" has been updated to 13-08-2009 but "00b" and "003" are still on 12-06-2009, should I have left my card in the sky box longer??
 
You are missing what tomthebomb1968 has said.

You must update your box to one one of the latest images, any image after 10/03/09 will do.

Next install CCcam 2.1.1 and the default CCcam.cfg

Now go to Sky1 and your card will update just fine.

You have no need to use NewCS with the old blue sky card.

We are assuming that is what you have as you say you have been using the card for some time.

If of course you have a new White card then your current set is fine and you will need to leave the white card in the original skybox overnight about once every six weeks.

I'm on Nabilosat Blackhole 10 with CCcam 2.1.1

I think those already qualified.

I did however put the bundle that included Newcs 1.66 (in preparation for the new white cards). I guess what you are saying, is I should remove Newcs and allow CCcam 2.1.1 full control.

However, now the entitlements have updated to August (from the sky box), I guess that now begs the question, "should I bother to take Newcs off as its highly likely by August, I will need it back on for the white card". Unless (A) Sky still haven't got all the cards out by then or (B) CCcam has been updated to cope with the white cards.
 
Leave it on for now but who knows what may happen in the future, I am sure we will see updates from NewCs and CCcam :)
 
you dont need to take it off, but download cccam 2.1.1 on its own, just the bin file not the complete as this will overwrite your config which is set for newcs, then just select cccam from the blue button for your blue cards and when your whites are in use use the combo,
