Equidia International

Hi All,

I'm located in the UK and I would like ot watch French Horse Racing and I'm told that the channel Equidia International would be the one to go for.

Any suggestions on what equipment I would need is much appreciated.

I would prefer to watch it on PC, but I'm not too fussed.

Regards

Mark

Equidia is broadcast in TPS script, at the momnet you should be able to receive it using something like a Skystar2 PCI satellite card and a dish on 13E Hotbird.

OK, thanks for that, I'll look around for the card. Anybody had good experiences with a particular supplier? Any minimum dish size I need for that?

Thanks again

Sorry for this, one more silly question,

I read about the Skystar 2 Card and it implied it was only good for Free to Air Satellite channels. Can I use it for a TPS Subscription Service?

Cheers

Have a read in the PC Card section Mark, all the information is there. You can buy them from www.sateuropa.co.uk , they are the UK distributor for Technisat products.

A 70/75 cm dish will suffice, I use a zone 2 Sky minidish with great success.

No, it's specifically French Racing. At least for now, maybe German at a later date.

Rolf, I presume you meant the PC Card section of this forum?

Thanks to you both for your help.
