EU wide access for IPTV?

I'm surprised no one else has commented on this yet, but there are moves by the EU to free up some of the restrictions currently in place, particularly with geoblocking IP addresses:

Perhaps a step in the right direction if nothing else?
 
One of the reports must have got their wires crossed - you cant have it holidaymakers only AND have it Europe-wide!
 
My guess is, if this eventually goes ahead you'll have to prove you are a resident of a certain country before you can access services from that country, after that you can connect to it EU wide.
 
Already stream bbc iplayer from various free internet sources, from spare lappy to 40"tv via hdmi:D

That should be easy enough to fabricate :D
 
The Swiss already do something similar, if you can prove you are a Swiss national you can get access to Swiss TV in Europe.
 
Press F11 on the laptop and the browser will resize bigger losing some of the top edge :)

I just use the full screen option bottom right side of player, used this 1 - 1 option to show the menu bars for streaming purposes.
