Eurobird 1 & Astra 2A/2B/2D at 28.2°E

hi i ' m located in the middle east . (border of oman and uae to be precise)(24 ,15'8"N 55,48'9" E)
is it possible for me to get signals from Eurobird 1 & Astra 2A/2B/2D at 28.2°E
if so what size of dish should i use and AZEL values

for 2D you will need 3.5 mtr +

In reality you will struggle from where you are with most birds and beams from 28.2E as the footprints are a long way out of your reach

I would have thought he'd need that for 2A/B south. Cyprus is only halfway to Oman and needs a 4 meter dish in many parts, so I'm sure Oman which borders the Indian Ocean is going to need a lot more.

Yes you are correct, I typed the wrong letter, as 2D requires that size from Jordon Egypt and Israel but it is an unrealistic goal whatever the facts and figures........
