hi just in the process of buying reciever and dish for eurobird 9 was going to buy topfield 6400 and 100 cm dish would this be ok for this install what lnb do i need and whats the set up of the dish thanks...)(-red

Any particular reason why you have thought about a 1m dish?

If you only want 9E, something smaller like a 60cm should be adequate.

Edit: What part of the UK do you live in?

What are you wanting on Eurobird 9A? There isnt a lot of much interest to most folks on there.

As Tivu says a 60cm dish will be PLENTY in the UK.

Thanks for reply in response i am trying to recieve chinese channels on eurobird 9e is 60cm adequate )(-red

Type Eurobird 9 in Google and LyngSat shows you the footprint.

Yes it will. You will also require a subscription from TVBS.

As in my earlier reply, almost certainly: But you aren't helping by still not telling us where you are located.

How about the French channels (M6, TF1 etc) on 12034V 27500 3/4 DVBS2 8PSK.
Is that transponder weaker than the rest?

Somehow I can not receive it, while the rest of 9E seems to be ok (at least the FTA channels)

sorry not to mention i am located in west yorkshire will a standard lnb 0.1 be ok

All EB9A frequencies are high power.
