So where is Hotbird 13C heading ?
Here are my 3 best guesses,

1 = 5° west
2= 12.5°west
3= 24.5°west

Remember when the satellite stops the readings will not immediately be updated as this is an automatic readout & needs to be manually updated,

So we will have to wait a while for the correct readings.

It appears to have stopped at 12,5°W. The TLEs report it at 13,5°W, while taking the Eutelsat 12WE (ex W2M) telemetry signal as a reference, they appear to be in the same position (see video).

In about 24 hours, I'll check again to confirm...

The satellite HB-9 / HB-13C has been designed to cover all 102 Ku-band transponders 10.7 to 12.75 GHz

So I will start my blind scan on the lower part of the Ku band 10.7 to 11.7

11584 H 7532 DVB-S fec 1/2 is the first active I will need to check this out as there are 2 other satellites nearby

Yes 8 years ago 12.5west & 24.5 west were very active for feeds so HB3C will be very busy when it starts here.

I was hoping it would go to 12.5W, it was a fairly interesting position a couple of years ago, used to carry the Italian multistream services amongst other things, let's hope for something interesting!

But since leaving 13°E, starting to build inclination, it's 0.13° now.
So likely no DTH broadcasting, maybe feeds, or data like Eutelsat had for long near 48°E.
I guess it will be called 12 West G.
