Maybe going to join the damaged satellite @ 5 west Eutelsat 5 West B at 5.0°W with only half the solar array working to become Eutelsat 5 West C.

The TLEs are incorrect, it is now about at 5°E.
In addition to still having the on-station telemetry active (11703,40H), the unmodulated beacon 12500,00H is also active.
In theory it should also have telemetry active for emergency/LEOP operations, in the S-band (around 2264~2271 MHz, circular polarity).

Hey guys how many times do I have to point out that one a satellite is being actively manoevered from one slot to another the TLE's are pretty much worthless from the point it starts moving to the moment it slots into it new home? Anything that is having thrusters fired breaks all the calculations. They are not real time calculations - they are extrapolations based on predicted orbital movement across the sky.
The simple fact that we have seen satellite positions "jump around" or "overshoot" a parking slot numerous times proves this is the case.
Aas @Marcus_21 can see the beacons then 5E is where it was, not where the TLEs were putting it!

No it isnt - how can it be at 8.8E when we have proof it was at 5E a couple of days ago? It will actually be near 2E or 3E today. ignore the TLEs until it gets to wherever its new home is - I suspect 5W is a likely slot.
