Maybe it's just a feed from the neighboring Arabsat-5A @ 30.5° East .

This freq. has been already stored in to my receiver .

Indeed it's unlikely Eutelsat 31A will use Arabsat 5A frequencies.
For 31A, check 10950...11200 and 11450...11700 MHz instead.

Please move this post to Arabsat 5A as it has been confirmed here & elsewhere that this is where the signals come from,
Sorry for this error.

Eutelsat 31A & Arabsat 5A are close enough to get both satellite positions from 30.8 east.

Eutelsat 31A can operate 10950 to 11200 + 11450 to 11700 + 12500 to 12750
Arabsat 5A can operate 10700 to 10950 + 12500 to 12750

So a frequency sharing plan will be in operation here to prevent interference.

Feed on 12504 active now, another on 12533V was active this morning.

Turk Sat Tanitim still there on 11638H, 2222, showing a promo.

And i've got it finally........
pic22.webp pic23.webp Only around 30% though on this muggy day.

I had a good go yesterday, in perfect blue sky conditions. Nothing logged here at all.

Its possible one of the bloody trees is in the way for the dish I was using

Could be , its still at around 30%,need a clear sky in the morning for a retry.

I can get it, but the signal fluctuates wildly! Can go from no lock whatsoever up to around 5.8dB then back down to no lock again in a matter of seconds!

Has anyone else looked for the SIS feed on Eutelsat 31A at 30.8 east? Not seen it mentioned before.

It's coming in fairly strongly this morning, under the odd name of 'sam asked for this' and showing a testcard.

Parameters are:- 11.024H, 3330.

Turksat Tanitim still there.

This freq has been in use for a while. Looks like they have changed the name.
And it's booming in here.
