Anyone is free and entitled to their own opinions for sure. I've been long enough here and I've seen your posts, so the introduction was not necessary. I've also been long enough to almost any satellite forum, to have formed a personal opinion on how people buy their receivers and why. But since I can speak only for myself, I can only say what I would do. Let's say I had a Viark, Geant or similar receiver of my own, which I never knew of its DXing capabilities, but knew very well of its decrypting capabilities, like everyone else who buys these kind of receivers. Granted, if I didn't have anything else handy and wanted to show I receive a difficult TP for my location, I would go to the tuner menu and show that reception is possible. What I wouldn't certainly do is screencap a decrypted channel (like for instance TF1 4K, RMC sport UHD and others) and post it as POC of the TP's reception. If I did, yes, I'd show that reception is possible, but inside I'd boast knowing I showed others what my receiver does that other receivers don't, and the real reason I bought it, which was certainly not its sensitive tuner. But as I say, this is what I would personally do, I'm not inside the mind of anyone else! And this is why I don't understand why you felt I was attacking you personally to go about and defend yourself of your presence and contribution. Anyway if you felt this way, I'm sorry, that was not my intention. My comment went to the receiver and this is why I questioned the screencap's necessity with the specific content, plus this is how I would react to any post like that. Nothing to do with you! Have fun with your receiver!
