Surely the sidelobe is in real existence since we can get MENA beam on relatively small dishes in the south of UK?

Yes it does exist here is an example of the same transponder on a 78 x 88 cm mesh dish + TM5302HD

On a scan range of 11800-12750V I get 12 transponders on a 100 cm here.
I did get 12713v on an earlier scan but not now..
TBS6983 100cm Dish.

Looking at that map with the sidelobe, it looks like the full beam/footprint should be down and to the left to follow the contour of the continent with that sidelobe somewhere near Ibiza or Murcia on the Med
With the "hotspot" over Morocco being somewhere over the Western Sahara and Mauritania
It looks like an MENA footprint but not from that location? I can't quite put my finger on it but it looks odd/misplaced
