Eutelsat have contracted for up to 4 more flights on Arianespace rockets from 2016/17

This is outside the timeframe of the current known fleet expansion / renewal:


3D - 2013
25B - 2013
3B - 2014
9B - 2014
8West B - 2015
36C (leased tps on Express AMU1)

So whats likely to be up for replacement in 2016-18??

Eutel 28A will be an obvious candidate and 5West A & 12West A will be coming up to EOL by then.

Any other guesses??

If SES get their way Eutelsat 28C is going to be a rather small satellite operating in a narrow frequency range with just a handful of transponders. I wonder if anyone has any spare Hughes HS-376 satellites laying around, they would be ideal... ;)
