Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have already set up a Dish for Hotbird 13E for Al Jazeera which is running beautifully however, I am now trying to set up a second dish for Eutelsat W2 16E so I can receive Tring Digital.

I have got a 1.1m satellite dish, standard LNB and SatCatcher Satellite Viewing Box.

I just can't seem to pick up a signal from the satellite in the least. Any handy tips etc would be greatly appreciated.

Well the first thing to do is tell us your location ..................
 
Assuming that it is receivable where you are, one easy way to find 16e is to align the dish spot on for Hotbird, then move the dish left a bit while looking at the tring transponder.
 
It might be useful to know that the Tring transponder has changed for horizontal to vertical. That's why you aren't getting a signal, I've just downloaded a new transponder list and all is good :)
