Hello all I am trying to connect my two way LNB to my Horizon sattelite meter but it keeps giving me a "excess current" error message and then shuts down. Does anyone have any help on why this could be, I think it could be due to water getting into the cable as the cable covers at the LNB had fallen off? I hope its not water as I really dont want to do another cable run unless I have to!!

Thanks Benjamim

If there is any suspicion at all of water in the cable the whole run will definitely need ripping out and replacing.

Try a similar length temporary cable run run out through doors or windows - if it works properly you know the original cable is duff.

Excess current usually is the result of a short on the cable. Check the connections
