Explanation of cams and keys

Can somebody please explain what is cams, and keys? What exactly is sharing with the dreambox? Can the dreambox locate a card holder?
 
Hello, have you had a look at the Idiot's Guide in the Dreambox section?

A emu (or cam) is software that can decrypt encryted channels with the correct keys.

Sharing means to share a subscription card and is against the rules to discuss the techniques etc.

You can discuss what you want, but no software, keys or attempting to recruit share group members etc. :)
