I ran some tests. I modified an Inverto Black Ultra Quad LNB by inserting a glass-fibre plate (the kind used for printed circuit boards). I installed the LNB at the primary focus of the Gibertini 150 dish... these are the results from Castellammare di Stabia (Naples, Italy).

This is the foil inserted into the LNB

I got just one transponder locked using universal LNB and 2.4M dish.
Of course I need to try with circular LNB.
Satellite 56E, but in screenshot 55E name.

I can also lock 12226 L 27500 3/4 DVB-S and 12265 L 27500 3/4 DVB-S2 QPSK on TBS 6903X in manual scan, using Linear LNB on 2.2m

I ran a test, using a thin plastic plate as a dielectric and TBS 6903/TBS 6903X on 2.2m (Inverto Single Flange)
- 6 from 8 transponder possible now...
- 12188 L and 12207 R are about 1dB under link margin, unlocked

The signal strength fluctuates by about 1 dB for me. Receiving the 12303 L channel is very difficult. The 12188 L channel doesn't work for me at all.
Reception with 2,20m and dielectrikum.

Here’s what I can pick up with a 1.80-metre dish and a linear LNB I’ve converted to circular

Only the 12188 L frequency won’t work.

There appears to be another RH transponder - 12.245 RH.

I managed to master-copy Chaparral's original Ku dielectric insert from a piece of 2mm thicjk teflon plate and inserted it into the feedhorn.

A whole new world of circular Ku band has opened for me. :)

As with others, only 12.187 LH doesn't want to cooperate...

this is the most difficult one for me to receive
