Hi All,
Newbie question-------I have just aquired an external HD for use with my 800. I have an E-Sata cable (came with box) and a USB cable.
Do I connect with an E-Sata cable or USB cable, or both.
The E-Sata cable supplied with the box does not seem to have the right connectors I assume that this cable only intended fort use with an 'internal' HDD?
In this respect,I also assume that I will need an e-sata to esata cable?

Will the e-sata to e-sata cable also provide power, or will the HD need separate power?

Any help/guidance would be great

Use the esata cable but you'll have to power it from a seperate source.Here's a thread i started about powering a USB external hdd and how i got round it.
