Hi all

I have recently had sky HD installed, the dish has four connections on it, two being used for the sky box.

As you may know you can record two programmes at the same time but you can't watch another.

My question is can i use my free sat box that i use in my caravan and connect it one of the spare connections on the dish, and if so would it affect my sky signal?

I could have digital aerial installed but doing it this way would be cheaper.

Thanks

You can also watch something already recorded on the hard drive, while there recording.

Thanks for the reply, can I use a standard aerial lead to connect to dish? Thanks

Double screened coaxial cable is recommended for satellite.

As a minimum, get down to B&Q,Wickes, Wilco's etc, and get some satellite cable.
