F connector problem - dm500s

hi guys.

i have just got the dm500s , was working fine last night, anway today had problems with power, but sorted now.

anyway - next problem is with the cables, for some reason i have no power to the bloody motor now for some reason. i took a look at all the cables and for the life of me, i do not have a clue what is going wrong.

there seems to be an issue with the connection that goes into back of dreambox.

for example, when i do not have the f connector on the cable and i simply plug the bare cable in the box i get 99% ACR......when i put it in with the f connector i get nothing.

im gettin pee'd off now, wasted 2 hours, cuttin cable different way etc...ffs...help me please 'O'-red'O'-red'O'-red'O'-red
 
That sounds like the power supply is not up to powering the motor. A very common problem on some clone 500's
 
:-O-st last night there was power to the motor as i moved the dish and found many sats but today since i buggered about with the cable there is no power.

to be honest i cant even work out how to get the cable in the back of dm properly, or if it is in properly cos when i put f connector on it does nowt.

what shall i do
