F Connectors on LNB

I am changing the cable run on my Sky + I am using the same cable Webro WF 69 and have purchased the correct size of F Connector from Webro which are very tight on the cable, should I use Self Amalgamating Tape or Rubber Boots on the F Connectors, I don't think a Rubber Boot will pass through the hole in the cover of the LNB, the original install by sky had nothing the F Connectors which are hidden by the cover on the LNB, any info on this please.

Messy though for service work in my opinion.
Self-Alga tape is very good
