Congrats guys. It's been a fun season, and a very close run battle for 3 onwards iver the last few races.

I am actually very pleased with the last half of my season, it was the crap first half that let me down LOL

Yes well done to Norm Tivu and AS, it was a good season all round, spoiled only by my early season failures with my driver selection gaining DNF's a number of times, I do however think I also finished in the top 1000

Its just where everyone finished in our league compared to the final finishing places of each of the actual teams. Its taken from the finishing table of our league.

Top two get allocated to Red Bull, (Norm & Tivu) next two to Mclaren (me & Rick) & so on.

I haven't researched it, but I'm guessing Maria de Villota is a relation (probably daughter of) Emilio de Villota who I think also drove for Lotus years ago. Seem to remember he didn't exactly set the F1 world on fire.

Edit : No it wasn't Lotus, but he did race F1 1976 to 1978 and 1981 - 1982. Never scored a point. And yes, she is his daughter.

They have Steve Rider and Georgie Thomson doing programmes and interviews.

Prof Sid Watkins is standing down from his safety role in F1:

Sid and his team saved many drivers including Pironi, Barichello & Hakkinen.

My first memory of Sid was in 1982 - and its still as fresh now as on the day young Riccardo Paletti was killed at the start of the Canadian GP. Sid was in the thick of the rescue, even when the car caught fire after a start line pile up.
