My Satellite Setup
Dreambox 7020, CM 1.2 with invacom quad c120 & channelmaster feedhorn.
My Location
Belfast, Northern Ireland
While scanning satellites an box pops up saying 'Fatal Error couldn't open service file - create /var/tuxbox/config/enigma! How do I fix this problem??

I have DB 7000 using Black Tiger firmware.

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Sounds like your config file is corrupted, flashing the image again would probably solve the problem.

Tryed flashing another image but aint solveled the problem.Any other ideas mate?

Did you do a flash erase after the install?

Hold the up button until flash erase appears and then let go.

If you have done the above - best to use the null modem to clear your box and install the image from scratch - no harm done.

Happy days!After a second attempt with the null modem cable the problem has disappered.Cheers guys!
