I recently bought an lnb for £9 on e-bay. Having already got a cheap lnb which i bought last year in lidl and which works well i thought i would buy another lnb for my spare dish.
Unfortunately i cant seem to pick any satellites with the new lnb, could this be a fault lnb, how can you tell if its a faulty one. When i switch my receiver on both lnbs the new and old one comes up with 15% on the L and nothing on the Q which i assume means there is power getting to the lnbs through the cable which again i assume means the cable is fine.
I really dont know if there is a way to tell if an lnb is faulty or not.
