Well I'm working my way through some Blu-rays. There isn't a great selection in most places and discounted ones always seem to be the same ones, but I've bought some and been renting others.
What are your favourites and why? What separates them out from DVD's?
A couple I have enjoyed were 'Night at the museum' - good family film with a lot of scenery which looked quite spectacular in HD. We also watched Mission Impossible III and it was better than I expected but again some of the scenes particularly in Shanghai really stood out on Blu-ray. I have seen 300 touted as being pretty spectacular and I watched it as well, but didn't really notice - perhaps I got too engrossed in the story to watch for detail!
I am watching more films at the moment than I have done since I first got a DVD player.
