Hello

I need to know how to assemble multi band Feed config.?and whats the WG parts?

Thanks

Do you?

May I ask if you are using just one this Forum as your (apparent) learning resource?

A lot of your errm, requests, are about aspects which the vast majority of hobby members never touch upon, so I'm not at all sure this is the best place to meet your extensive breadth and depth of needs.

Impossible to answer without more info.

Dear QWEREWQ, did you get multi band Feed system and now you just asking how to assemble it because having some very specific technical difficulties? Or you are asking questions just to ask and really do not care what answers will be?
Let me ask one personal question: Have you installed at least one sat-antenna at all?

I was offered a multi feed system by GDsatcom but i wanted to get high quality parts for some reason.

I will use C,X,Ku,K,Ka in general, C,KU,Ka to be more specific.

No i dont have the multi feed system so i am gathering info about it to get the parts and assemble them.

I dont have any technical difficulties,at least yet.

Yes i dealt with offset antenna some time (Lnb skew,Coax, elevation, azimuth)but unfortunately without any pro equips i used prog finder with DVB-S2 card for pc to measure signal strength on some nilesat Freqs.

What on earth are you hoping to find in X-band?

Thats basically used for military comms and I guarantee they will be encrypted.

Is there any Ka band operational covering Egypt? If not you are wasting your time with that one too.

X- & K- bands are not hobby level so you will have great difficulty getting lnb's for them.

So, QWEREWQ, once you get started on the construction of your project, presumably you will want to share with us by way of Posting up some pics. to our server?

We'll look forward to that.

I know that Ka is very narrow and there isnt ka in EG.
I know that X is for military
---------------------------
L band 1 to 2 GHz
S band 2 to 4 GHz
C band 4 to 8 GHz
X band 8 to 12 GHz
Ku band 12-18 GHz
K band 18 to 26.5 GHz
Ka band 26.5 to 40 GHz
Q band 30 to 50 GHz
U band 40 to 60 GHz
V band 50 to 75 GHz
D band 110 to 170 GHz
-----------------------------
The Americas

Segments in most of The Americas are represented by ITU Region 2 from 11.7 to 12.2 GHz (Local Oscillator Frequency (LOF) 10.750 GHz), allocated to the FSS (fixed service satellite),uplink from 14.0 to 14.5 GHz. There are more than 22 FSS Ku band satellites orbiting over North America, each carrying 12 to 48 transponders, 20 to 120 watts per transponder, and requiring a 0.8-m to 1.5-m antenna for clear reception.
The 12.2 to 12.7 GHz (LOF 11.250 GHz) segment is allocated to the BSS (broadcasting satellite service). BSS (DBS direct broadcast satellites) normally carry 16 to 32 transponders of 27 MHz bandwidth running at 100 to 240 watts of power, allowing the use of receiver antennas as small as 18 inches (450 mm).
]Europe and Africa

Segments in those regions are represented by ITU Region 1 and they are, the 11.45 to 11.7 and 12.5 to 12.75 GHz bands are allocated to the FSS (fixed satellite service, uplink 14.0 to 14.5 GHz). In Europe Ku band is used from 10.7 to 12.75 GHz (LOF Low 9.750 GHz, LOF High 10.600 GHz) for direct broadcast satellite services such as those carried by the Astrasatellites. The 11.7 to 12.5 GHz segment is allocated to the BSS (broadcasting satellite service).
]Australia

Australia is part of ITU Region 3 and the Australian regulatory environment provides a class license that covers downlinking from 12.25 GHz to 12.75 GHz and uplinking from 14.0 GHz to 14.5 GHz.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you see Ku band sat tv is ku band anyway but the freqs. are really a part of x and Ku,that why i am considering X when searching for hardware.
Ka is for futur purposes it will a terminated port(no lnb)

No not yet if i did it this year it would be on 10/7/2012

And i will post some pics and vids of course

But if you know that

then why and how you are going to use X, Ku, Ka?

Ka will be terminated feed while X will be used partially 10.75 to 12 Ghz

Unless you can get hold of some ex military stuff, or are willing to modify hobby stuff you are wasting your time with X-band There are maybe half a dozen birds in European skies that transmit in X-band, and they are all military birds (eg the UK's Skynet 5's)

How about going a step further and trying for some new heavenly bodies?

how regular lnb's get 10.75 ghz then!

i am only talking about wg parts i will deal with the c/ku

If you mean a Universal LNB, then they get 10.75GHz by Downshifting to 1.00 GHz (In L Band, details of which you kindly including in your cut and pasted - but not attributed - screed a few posts ago), using the Low Band 9750 Local Oscillator.

A Ku bandpass will allow 12-26 GHZ whatever the lnb is!
Got what i am talking about yet...Waveguide parts ! not LNB's
LNB's aren't a problem its the WG feed and feedhorn

Errm, I suspect you are in danger of disappearing up your own Feedhorn ............. your Post #14 clearly and specifically refers to a "regular LNB"

The clue is in the fact that I actually quoted that Post in my reply.

I suspect that we are unable to help you further.
