Hi Guys,

Well just got sky+ installed today, I live in a flats with a communal dish. So as you know I have only got one feed into my box which is meaning I am getting limited service on my box.

I am just on to see what steps I can take to get a second feed into my box ?

I have a second port for a feed in my bedroom next to the living room don't know if this helps at all?

Thanks
David

Hello

Welcome to the forum stan22

It is unfortunately a common problem with many threads about it this being one of them
http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/...-tell-if-stacker-installed-communal-dish.html

Not an awful lot that you can do until you have spoken to the landlord or management company. You first need to find out how the signal is distributed from the dish before options are determined and suggestions can be made, but certainly a stacker destacker may be one of the options. Splitters will definitely not work, there is no way of knowing where the other feed is coming from without contacting management, but it may be an option

Thanks for the quick reply topper.

Who am I best contacting my housing association or the developer as the flats aren't long built?

Thanks
David

Check whats coming out if the 2nd port in the other room.If it is a sat feed connect the 2nd input to that.
