Feedhorns for offset Channel Master

hi - c.j.
it looks like it bolts to one of those block type l.n.b.,s -- they type you have on a co rotor-- if so the feedhorn is quite a large piece of kit - cant see it being so easy to arrange on a c.m. 1.2 --

Hmm, yeah. Just wondering what else I can do to squeeze the most signal out of a small dish...

I guess if I wanted both C and Ku on one dish, it would have to sit above the Ku LNB as opposed to a side-by-side arrangement and install another jack arm for elevation..

yes -
side by side is not so easy on a channel master the side supports are in the way -- i did it on the 1.8 with a metal strip/meccano type arrangement to lower the side supports.
never tried that on the 1.2 -- probably could be done - but a bit fiddly to get just right --
and you would still need an elevation jack for fine tuning --
