... Uplink for Dr Dish programs Feedsat ?? lol..

You could start a Feedsat TV channel!!

not yet but who knows, for some private feeds for fun, I can have space segment whenever I want.
but the most important:the installation must be approved by Eutelsat/intelsat, SES; etc.

well, this afternoon, I made an upgrade, simple but very useful

PS: @Trust1 and all regular members: any chance to use the Egis to rotate the antenna (even with regular feedarms ? )

Pretty sure Egis is capable of driving this. @st1 has a few of those Egis driven installs ...

Any chance of sticking North Korean TV up somewhere useful? :D

I wish I did, but you must be thinking of someone else.
I do have an Apexsat moving a CM240 at work, though, if that's what you were thinking of. Very nice H2H solution...

Ah yes, must have been that. Is Apexsat a similar sort of solution as Egis?
Not quite. The Egis is an Az-El device (two motors), whereas the Apexsat is a H2H motor (one motor).
In principle, the Egis device is more flexible, but a dish on an apexsat can be fitted with a inclination-actuator to adjust.
The Egis probably requires more in terms of LNB rotators for linear signals.

If I had the choice one day, I'd probably go with the Apexsat one...

Very nice, what size dishes do you have?

(Did you notice the signature of OP?)

No just looked now, not your average enthusiast setup they have there.

Makes my 1.2m+1224 setup rubbish in comparison lol

I have a new demod since a couples of weeks, very interesting , especially the remux option, DVB IP, etc , it's perfectly 'match' with the NS2000 especially to extract the High bitrate in NS4 @ 200 Mbps
