Wonder if the type of film is shows will change after a few months of no paying subscribers.

There is no Irish (Southern Ireland) FTV card :-doh! , but FilmFour is available on the SKY Ireland platform as a FTA channel. Some channels such as BBC3 and BBC4 are not available on the Irish platform for some strange reason eventhough they are 100% FTA. Why do sky "block" these? I can understand that channel 101-104 are occupied by the Irish channels so the UK channels are left out, but where there is space?

Simply because Auntie Beeb hasnt paid for epg placement on the Irish epg.

That makes sense, but why is then BBC1 and BBC2 available on the EPG for Ireland?

Bercause those are the BBC flagship channels. If it matters that much to you get a non Sky box and you can have all the fta channels in any order :)
