hi all,
i'm new to this! i was wondering are there any 'free to air' channels out there which air english language films that are not dubbed over? (with subtitles) i have a free to air digital sat reciever, three dishes (80cm*2 & 1 meter) and only two uni lnbs at present. i do not want to buy new recievers or any cams etc.

thanking you in advance for your advice
!!the malman!!

Well......
The only FTA channels which DO air english language films are,as far as I know,
the BBC channels on ASTRA 2A!!!
But many of these films are older, like `Twins` starring A.Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.

For frequencies etc. go to www.lyngsat.com.

Hope that helps....

Krizz

theres plenty of FTA film channels, but they are not of the most recent sort.if you waqnt to watch premium movie channels you are gonna have to upgrade to another receiver.or patiently wait for the new films to become old films and watch on chans such as BBC

I do not mind watching OLD FILMS. i'm not all that bothered about the latest releases and good films never age in my opinion. what would be the best satellite for such fta film channels?

infinity on hotbird shows some decent films and the new channel on 15w shows some of the latest films but dodgy dvd copies watched tom hanks terminal last week films start after 9.30pm not bad for fta
