finding 26east and tuning in my tm5400ci in torrevieja, costa blanca

Hi folks

i had my motorised system installed for me so this will be my first attempt at anything like this so any advice would be much appreciated. We have a 1m dish on the roof terrace that isn't being used which im pretty sure is pointing at astra 19.2 so we are going to spain on sunday and im taking a spare TM5400 ci with me and my jsc sub card, what my plans are is to move the dish to the badr sats at 26east, so any advice you guys could give me about aligning the dish and tuning in the stb etc would be very helpfull!

Got to advanced settings, choose the badr4 12182H transponder (check parameters correct using lyngsat), monitor the signal quality, and slowly move dish eastward and down slightly until you get a good quality reading. Scan the transponder, if its 26E you will get a channel called YEMEN TV.

Then tweak for best signal, presumably there you can also get badr6, so worth seeing if you get those too, and tweaking if necessary.

cheers for the info, but i couldn't lock onto 26east,the nuts i had to loosen to move the dish down a bit were impossible to loosen with the limited tools i had. had to bite the bullet and get a mob out to do it for me, but it's all perfecto now badr 4,5,6 beaming through!
