Fitting extra feeds

Im was just wanting to know what the procedure for fitting extra feeds in other rooms.
I sort of know how to do it just wondering
What size drill bit i would need and length??
If the sky dish is mk2 how do i put newer lnb on??

Also i know i must drill from the inside to the outside would you recommend working up the drill sizes so piloting it all just drill straight though in 1 go?? Thanks ppl :-righton
 
Don't forget to form a drip-loop to stop water entering your cavity.

8mm x 450mm SDS will do it.

Use a decent SDS drill or hire one if you plan on drilling several holes ;)
 
I've always used a 10mmx400 ( or longer ) drill bit saves the cable sheathing on the edges of the hole, can be a b****** getting a coax through a cavity wall though, that's where a thin metal rod taped to the end of cable helps a lot. Remember to seal the hole with silicone on the outside as well.
