Fixed multi sat advice needed

Currently I have a triax td110 on a motor. The channel change time has become annoying so I want to remove the motor and have a multimlnb set up. My question is how many and which sats could I get on my dish.

Ideally I would like 1west 5e 13e and 19.2 I can pick 28.2 up on my sky dish and put it into the switch.

So any help would be very gratefull and if u can recommend a multi arm for my dish as well.

Well I have 5W, 13E and 19E on an old Sky "Analogue" dish using a cheap generic bracket from fleabay, so I should have thought your TD110 would get 5E, 13E and 19E no problem with either a generic bracket or with a pukka Triax Multibracket.

Which would be the best arm. I notice the triax doesn't have a central holder. Are there any better alternatives. And can any1 confirm I can get the sats I wish on that setup.

For the Triax dishes I doubt whether there will be a better arm. You can get an LNB closer to the central position by some judicious modification. It isn't possible to have the LNB central as that position is occupied by a screw and nut holding the bracket onto the dish feedarm. I have 13°E to 42°E on my TD88. However, as you move up in dish sizes it increases the spacing between LNB's but reduces the amount of arc you can get. I don't think 1°W to 19°E would present too much difficulty, perhaps focusing the dish about 9°E. Are you wanting 1°W, 5°E, 9°E, 16°E and 19°E? or not as many?

The 20 degree Triax multibracket will do the job. There is a mod to allow an LNb to be centre focused but not really necessary for strong satellites.

Thanks for the replys. I want to get 1w 5e (viasat) 13e 16e 19e will this be possible with the triax arm. And which lnbs would u recommend I need twin outputs.

Viasat is on the Nordic beam so you may want to consider focusing on that; although... 16e is another, and you will need to mod the bracket for latter due to spacing.

Stick with a motor, lol ;)

yer i thought id have to line up to 5 on the main. i no 16 from there might be hard but would i pull in 1w 13 and 19 e on this set up?

Remember theres a new satellite on its way to 16E which will allow Eutelsat to redeploy W2M / Sesat 1 / EB16A, and should give stronger signals off 16E.

The Triax multi arm is definatley the way to do it, but you will probably struggle to pick up 12456H on 5e (prem HD) if you get far off centre with that LNB, there isn't all that much margin on it in the UK as it is. Given that 19e is so strong, you should be able to still get an adequate signal with it well off centre. I'd definatley go for an Inverto Black Ultra for 5e, and probably for 19e too as your going to have to push that well off centre in order to get 5e as close to central as possible.

Just to echo what Rick says, put 5E central and have 19E the furthest away offset LNB, I have more than a 30 degree seperation between furthest away birds 5W & 28E with the focus LNB being 13E.
