Flashing E2 image - backing up Positioner settings

Hi guys

For those of you that run Engima2, what is your preference, do you backup the settings of your current image, using backup manager or do you just go through and re-input the positioner values?

I've been putting off flashing my image (VIX) - due to the positioner settings for each sat. My image is nearly 9 months old.

Those values are stored in the settings file at etc/enigma2

Since your sticking with the same image you would simply overwrite the new settings file with the old one from your current image you backed up by ftp.

The lines that contain the words config.nims are the actual settings.

I never had any problem with backing up my motor settings either. Go forward.
