My Satellite Setup
dreambox 7000s - Flubber
40gb Hard Drive
80cm Clear Dish + V-Box 2
Linksys Wireless Bridge
DCC on Laptop
My Location
Lancaster UK
I was flashing gemini 2.2 using dream up and i forgort to flash box.

I pressed disconnect and the DB 7000s is blank.

Is there a quick way to get the image back or is it a job for the null modem?

Try to flash the box.
If after flashing using the up arrow button (see idiot guide for how to do it) your box is still not responding then a null modem is the only thing left. If you have the correct cable doing it is relative easy, and does only take 5,6 minutes, so no big deal...
 
Yes you can easily flash any image thru Serial port using "Right Cable". I have struggled lot to find a correct cable. Finally I have checked the connections. Now I can provide you the correct info about wiring between connectors.
 
most pc shops will sell null modem cables
