hi all,
sorry if i`m asking silly questions, but totally new to all this, i bought a force 1122s plus motorised mount for £20 from the car booty, i wired up the receiver to my old sky dish on the roof to see if the box was working all i`m getting on screen is the message no signal and the screen keeps flashing on and off every second or so, software version is v44, sorry to be a pain but i really don`t know where to start.

Well if your old sky dish was pointing at 28.2East then you should be able to get the freesat channels. I suggest therefore that you first set the frequency FEC and SR to one that is used on Astra 2D if this then gives you a signal then do a scan of all the freesat frequencies on Astra 2D.
