Hi there,
I got a new FS4200 and i have installed fine with a motor and a 60" dish.
Does any one knows how to enter keys or any hidden menus on FS4200.
I am completely new to this and i need to start from somewhere.

Do i need to update the software to the latest?

Many thanks people

Well you are going to be disappointed as that stb you have is for Free To Air channels only, which if you bought it from a well know retailer will do what is says on the box give you freesat channels and nothing else. There is no secret menu.

Should have bought a Technomate or a Clarke Tech or a Vantage or a Darkbox or a Dreambox, or any one of the better 'supported' receivers.

Thank you for the reply. That is what new means.

:-rofl2

My first receiver was a Fortec Star, it only lasted a couple of weeks before I decided to bin it. Made the same mistake myself.:)

Likewise - not a patch on other Receivers.

I fobbed mine off onto 'er indoors and she happily watches all her French and Italian stuff on it (though I did have to teach her how to operate an A/B switch ...................).

What are the best receivers for patching and experiment?

Cheers

There is no best, hardly anything is open now for nothing so just accept that if you want to watch it you will have to pay for it

Yes, always a good idea to get a receiver with a card slot and a slot for a CAM, that way you are mostly covered if you decide to subscribe to a package.
