Hello and greetings to everyone, this is my very first post.
I've set my heart on getting the new Technomate 5402 as it's got everthing in its spec.that I want and at quite a reasonable price. This is where the problem starts. I'm retired, so money is short, and the wife is objecting to me forking out about £155 for it.
So, very reluctantly, I've had to start looking for something cheaper. On the Maplin website I see they're selling Passion+ HD receivers for £80. Can I ask first, does it have 2 CI slots or 2 card slots. If the latter then are they multicypt or single decryption? (is there such a word?).
I see the Passion has usals just like the Technomate and so would greatly help with my intention of motorising the system. Years ago I installed an analogue motorised system and so I'm not totally clueless. Unfortunately though, I'm going to need assistance in drilling the wall for the mount.
I've already bought a very sturdy mount and a Technomate TM2600 motor with metal gears. Anyway, I've now gone way off the point and it's time to hit the submit button.
Thanks to everyone in advance.
