Hi

i have a fortec star 5600 plus i recently upgraded the firmware from the fortec site but in doing this i have lost my option to insert codes for irdeto seca2 and so on, im trying to find the older firmware i think its 2.26v or is there another way to bring this option back, any help will be greatly appreciated..

I use this site for downloading Al7bar Fortec files:-

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Fortec/files/

There's something for the 5600 there.

When using the uploader, don't put the bin.file straight into the STB box, highlight just "Al7bar CX" or whatever model you need, copy and paste into the STB box, then download.

I found the Fortec won't accept the download if the full filename is placed in the STB box.
