Help I have just bought this box and dish kit and it should be aligned to astra 2. I have positioned it to the astra 2 co ordinates but get "noch" on the display This could be my fault when installing but more worrying is that on the drop down list of 73 satallites available on the 4400 astra 2 is not listed and neither is eurobird 1.

Will this box tune to astra 2 and if so how do I do it
 
Thanks Topper I will get a meter tomorrow but why does the drop down list omit asta2 Surely I have to identify it for the set to work?

well I do not know why they would be selling stbs in Europe and not have Astra 2 in the satellite list, the thing is that there is frequency re-use right across the arc so the important thing is to get approximately aligned to 28.2/5 initially using dishpointer. If you happen to hit lucky and get some channels you can check by what you are actually receiving using a channel on another satellite and referring to lyngsat or flysat for cross reference to determine the satellite you have aligned to. At that stage you may have to add the satellite if it is not included and then do a satellite scan to get all the channels availalble. As I have said I find it hard to believe that Astra 2 is not in there.
