Fortec Star Zeta PVR

Hello,

I have just bought a Fortec Star Zeta PVR Box, I was hoping to get all of the Freesat Channels on this box, however when I searched for channels it only finds some of the available channels. However it shows channels such as Dave and E4 as pay channels but I thought these were free?

Am I doing something wrong? or are these channels limited to the 'Freesat' Boxes?

Well you will not be getting Dave as it is not part of the lineup but is currently available on Freeview as regards E4 well yes that should be as should all this list I would recommend you do a re-scan however first I would just be sure you have not got one of these lnbs as that could definitely be your problem http://www.satellites.co.uk/satelli...28721-skew-problem-fortecstar-lnb-fckuvn.html

Thanks Topper, not sure what LNB I have got I am just using my existing Sky dish connected up to the box. Could this be why I am not getting all the channels on the list?

It should work perfectly with a $ly dish. This has an LNB tailored to suit the special shape so it won't be Fortecstar.

Is there somewhwere in the menu where you can check the signal quality (not signal strength)?

Which chnnels CAN you get? Can you name some others that you can't?

Dave is a pay channel, you won't be able to see it with this receiver. The E4 channel you are trying to see will the the encrypted version for Ireland.
There is another free version of E4 on 10729 V on Astra 2D.
If you can get the BBC then you should also be able to get E4, Channel Four and Five on this box, all free to air.
