Fortecstar Innovation - Updating Transponder Lists

Hi folks,

First time posting on here so I hope I'm in the right place.

I have had this receiver for about 2.5 years now and it has the latest officially released firmware in it (Which in itself is quite old now as it looks like development on it has ceased). As I've got a bit of spare time over the festive period I decided to have a 'spring clean' to bring the box up to date.

The first thing that is obvious is the transponder lists are really way out of date now. As this isn't a 'blind search' receiver, there doesn't seem to be any easy way of updaing the transponder list other than sit there, remote in hand, manually updaing them.. even that isn't easy as every time I try to add a transponder it tells me there is one the same already in the list and refuses to add it!!

So the question is.. is there a 'simples' way of updating the transponders on this receiver that I am missing..

Thanks for that, but no it isn't.. I update settings via the USB not RS232

Ok ............. have a look at the mother Forum for Fortec Star HD and see if the info is already here: It generally is!

Sadly not it seems.. I have asked on there a couple of times.. If I could get an up to dater channel list, that would also update all of the transponders too- I could then delete the channels and rescan (I only use the box for FTA). There is a list on there but only for 13e/19e/28e
