i have just got the box as above but heard u cud put a $ky card in and get the same channels as the card. is it true? and can any1 help ty

You can't put any card in the Passion - there's no card slot. There are CAM slots though, for which you will need a CAM module such as the Diablo or Dragon/TRex in which to to put your card in.
The CAM will need programming with a suitable file that can read your card.
