Bugger.

Some of us will need to revamp our Teams in a major way as Maverick has done his thing and revalued components after the third Race.

Have deliberately made sure I am not involved in that fiasco after last couple of years

Yes. It's clearly stated in the Rules, and I can understand that the costs should better reflect the actual performance once the Season is underway, as opposed to an off-season educated guess, but when it entails a major strategy review for those who actually got their first effort there or thereabouts, it's too much of a penalty for success.

Same thing last year, make an astute/lucky selection and you are penalised for it (Nasr), very disheartening as I made a good start this season which has now been negated. Good job I don't take it too seriously.

Could not agree more, the last two years I have been affected by it and never able to recover from it, did not even follow winter testing this year as i deemed it more dangerous to be astute or indeed lucky

Max Verstappen will replace Danill Kvyat at Red Bull from the Spanish Grand Prix with the Russian taking the Dutchman's seat at Toro Rosso.

Don't well up too much, the water table is still high there!

But have to agree, you couldn't have written that and been believed!

I cannot believe I watched FP1 & 2 and then forgot to choose drivers etc prior to FP3, oddly enough I have gone up with both teams

First six or seven in our League are mighty close.

As for the Race, better entertainment than a typical dry weather Monte Carlo snoozefest.

I wonder if Ricky Hairdo picked up his propensity for bad language from yer man Fettel?

Agreed slightly more entertaining than the usual procession, as for the bad language, I think that is de rigeur with many sports these days, certainly is on the LAL soccer matches at the end of our back garden................

A magnificent race - watched live on RAI1HD with Radio 5Live commentary. The rain certainly livens things up at Monaco :D
