The annual F1 fantasy league is now up and running and as usual all members are welcome to join in. Lets see if we can knock wobbles off the top step of the championship this year :D

Very few rules as normal - you MUST have been a member of the league on February 22nd 2019, everyone can enter 2 teams

I'm in with Anglo French and Equipe Fromage....for some reason Equipe Etranger ended up in the Pro League
 
Piston Broke and Piston Broke Again... are up for it again
 
Aqua Minerale & Ruby Reds just passed their MOT's and go faster stripes stuck on.
 
My usual two are in, FX and FY Aberdeen.

An new era for F1 on TV - but will it suffer?

For the first time in more than 40 years, audiences in the UK will not be able to watch regular live coverage of F1.

But some interesting points & will it suffer? Yes I think it will. Look what happened to cricket when it sold its soul to pay tv for a few grimy shekels.

I shall continue to watch on RTL like Ive done for a few years
 
It is a disgrace that the average punter who cannot afford sky has to make do with a German channel to watch, Britain should be ashamed
 
The fun & games started at Baku even before the race this year. A Williams written off thanks to a loose drain cover - then to add insult to injury the towtruck carting it back to the pits crashed into an overbridge!!

This years Williams is cursed....


 
A mercy killing, losing a Williams chassis, sadly.
 
Maybe Claire could pay someone to drop them both in the harbour when they get to Monaco :-rofl2

I heard on R5liveSE that Williams would be applying to the organizers for compensation. 2nd practice was not exactly smooth running either
 
And now Kubica has heavily damaged the other Williams in Q1 :-rofl2

Carnage during quali - what will the race bring (and will anyone actually finish it)?
 
It was always going to test the drivers when they decided to widen the cars, if you think how difficult road users find it going through gaps at zero mph imagine how difficult it must be at 150+mph.
 
25 years ago today since Senna died. And lets not forget that dreadful weekend also claimed the life of young Roland Ratzenberger driving the hopeless Simtek..
