Sadly, and to the general detriment of understanding between peoples, there are a good many bigots who have a firm view, however formed, and no interest in either amending that view or hearing (Let alone understanding) the views of others.

The rise of global TV coverage with the plethora of different News Channels is a great advance in giving access to the points of view of others.

The biggest problem these days, that people do not listen to any point of view that they do not agree with, as many of us have been in a debate/meeting and when the other person finishes their statement with "you know i'm right" it is then time to go home.
My father would always say "Listen to everybody, even the village idiot comes up with a good idea now and again"

fox news beats the fake news channels

which brings me to my next point of being here from what i have been told I would need a decoder and sub card for Sky Italia in order to watch fox news in english does anyone know where I can buy from that is not over the top in price

Similarly, the dirty digger's Times and Sunday Times online are behind a paywall.
Could buy them at the newsagent I suppose, but judging by the sheer bulk of the ST, you'll be denuding a forest of a few trees in the process.

We still buy a hard version of the Sunday Times.

It's got much thinner in recent years and half of what's left is "Cruise" advertising supplements!

I had the ST since their groundbreaking Magazine first appeared, before all the other Sundays mimicked it. Excellent reportage and campaigns (Thalidomide for one).
Downhill since Rupert acquired it, and I only changed to the Observer ('Sunday Guardian') early this year when I hated having to chuck out so much padding (yes, advertising bumf) and unread supplements, Rich Lists etc.

Even changing allegiance doesn't help much .... we have the Torygraph on Saturdays and you soon get a sense of deja vu when you come across a "feature" that seems familiar .... a little racking of the brain or digging into the blue recycling bag reveals it was a syndicated item published in the previous week's ST.

News feeds can be interesting like the UN Security Council meeting today on the Reuters feed @ 22 west
All the Council Members were against the North Korean recent action,
But the North Korean security council members astonishing response to the UN today was frightening (Not shown on National TV)
