hi

Is Fracarro dish size 1.25 cm can be used with DiSEqC H-H MOTOR 1.2 like ICECRYPT or it`s heavy that causes damage to the motor ?

regards

I can't find a reference to the Fracarro's weight, but my fibre Laminas 1.2m dish is 8kgs. I guess that the Fracarro is a bit heavier. Really you should be considering the shearing force of the wind on such a large dish surface over and above the weight. Also, due to the construction of the dish mount on the Fracarro you couldn't fit it to an Icecrypt motor stub which hangs down. If you did decide to risk mounting the dish on a motor (rather than using a polar mount and actuator) you'd have to consider a Stab or similar motor, as shown here :

thanks

how many kilos does Fracarro dish size 1.25 cm weigh?
if its the badged gibby its heavy, too heavy for a diseqc motor in all but the most sheltered location. if you are set on the fracarro dish why not save a little more and get the polar mount, jack and v-box to go with it

Yes, if it's a rebadged Gibertini, it'll be way too heavy, fitted one a few weeks back and it's a handful. As gibertini says, why not bite the bullet and go for a polarmoint, jack and v-box?

If the antenna sheet steel (plate), estimated 15Kgs, aluminum 14kgs.
In none of the 2 cases, a normal engine DiSeqC or Stab120 bear the brunt of this antenna.

Si es la antena de chapa de acero (plato), calcula que unos 15Kgs, en aluminio 14Kgs.
En ninguno de los 2 casos, un motor DiSeqC normal o el Stab120 soportan el peso de esta antena.
