The intellectualist comedian Frankie Boyle has a brand new series on Channel Four Tramadol Nights.

His stage set features a few satellite dishes. Sadly not the Sly zone dishes; round ones, perforated and solid. The caps no doubt contain blue smarties and stuff for the kids :-flash

Good take on the Knight Rider serial in this first episode. Frighteningly true to life, in fact.

:-rofl2 :-rofl2 :-rofl2

I tried to look at the show on four occasions, but found myself changing the channel back over within a couple of minutes.

Not my cup of tea, even though I do like his stints on Mock the Week.

Frankie is always fantastic on panel shows but I've never been a fan of his solo stuff or stand up. His humour is good in short bursts but gets very tiresome in long stretches, there seemed to be no structure to his last stand up, just a collection of his 'shocking' one liners...

Sadly no longer (except for repeats) as he took his BBC bat home in the wake of the odd controversial comment.

Saw him in concert in Glasgow last week and thought the new show was Effin OUTSTANDING IMHO

I'm told by an BBC employee that they had thousands of complaints about him when on Mock the Week prog. He disappeared from it shortly afterwards.
No1 Yob in my opinion.

I totally disagree with the above FB made that show.I would rarerly watch it now in his absense as it is pish and how in the world has russel horward to his own show is beyond me he is rubbish...The figures for anything FB is part of on tv far outweigh any of the others combined

totally agree frankie boyle made mock the week and russel howard is as funny as toothache

Sorry, but I find Frankie Boyle a right pain in the ass. I'm not mature content but his mature content jokes are rubbish. They sound like the sort that teenagers would tell in the playground.
