I have an Aston Simba HD receiver for the French TNT par satéllite bouquet, equivalent to Freesat in the UK. The receiver no longer works, due I believe to power supply problems. The Aston technical service will allow me to send it back to them, and after repair would send it to a French address, which is not a problem for me. However, knowing me, I'll never get round to sending it off, and so the thought occurred to me....would it be possible to use the Viaccess card in another receiver, such as the Skybox F3 to decrypt the channels I was watching before? I'm looking for an easy legal fix. Any suggestions?

The only receiver i know of that can open that card other than a Fransat receiver is a Critor Atlas, Atlas -E and the newer Atlas-HD and then only when you have installed patched firmware by the Kyng team. This is speaking from personal experience.
