Barker channel. Note the incredible SR - 34000 with only one channel being broadcast - must be loads of null packets on this tp..... Hopefully we will see some new channels on this frequency soon.

Transmits FTA in French.

It started broadcasting two weeks ago.
 
I wonder what the game-plan is...... Why would Fransat be on a second satellite?
 
Very strong signals here picking it up on my 89cm mesh dish.
 
Maybe just a test for a new service ?
 
Fransat is the French equivalent of Britain's Freesat, and is mainly encrypted. 5W is one of the traditional homes of French satellite TV, but 21E certainly isn't...

Both have left the multiplex. There must have been some content, but it was HEVC with parameters that were probably unknown to the usual filters :rolleyes:

Only 60% though.

Now also carrying a fta channel called "HD Forum" on the logo although its tagged as 8.0Mbps HD MPEG4 on the F3
 
Who says that this transponder has anything to do with FRANSAT?
